Do I need to treat my whole property if I've only seen activity in one room?
Yes - when dealing with most pests, its important that your entire home is treated as some may spread undetected or to stop activity from spreading at all!
How long does a treatment take?
A typical treatment for a residential property takes no longer than 1hr each visit.
Why can’t you block all the holes on the first visit?
If we block all the holes on the first visit it will encourage the mice/rats to create new holes. By leaving their usual entry point accessible it will allow them to take their usual route find the bait and stop them on their tracks!
Do I have to vacate the property during my treatment?
Yes - Insecticidal sprays and fumigations are TOXIC and our technicians wear the appropriate PPE when carrying out these treatments. It is important that everyone in the household (including pets) vacate the property during and for a minimum of 4 hours after completion to allow enough time for the insecticide to dry and set itself.
Do I need to get rid of my bed and mattress if I have Bedbugs?
Before starting any treatment we will always inspect to get a better understanding of your issue and locate all potential nesting points. In some cases if a piece of furniture is heavily infested, you will need to dispose of it alongside treatment. However, this is something we'll determine on our inspections and recommend on the first visit.
Is it normal to see activity after the first treatment
Yes! With all treatments it’s a process wether it be targeting nesting points, eradicating each life cycle , wiping out the majority of the population our treatments come in parts to allow us to do this and ensure that the pests do not return.
